Journey Intelligence: when to leave, not just what is next

Your itinerary knows dinner is at 19:30. It has never known about the twenty-three minutes in between.

Arriving about 19:15, fifteen minutes before you are due.

Carreh now works out the journey between your plans and the moment to go, and shows it as one line you can act on: 23 min drive · Leave by 18:44.

No new screen. It appears between the plans you already made, and where a journey cannot be measured honestly, it shows nothing at all.

How it works

Leave By, on plans you already have

A connector appears between two timed plans, answer first: the time you have to leave.

Tap it for the whole picture, still answer-first.

  • The leave time, large, before anything else
  • Your journey and your arrival buffer beneath it
  • A plan without a location is simply not connected

Tight timing, before it bites

A day can fit the calendar and still not fit the clock.

  • Tight by 6 min when your buffer is being squeezed
  • About 12 min behind when the day has genuinely slipped
  • A quiet line on the connector, never an alarm

You usually only need to know a little earlier.

Walk, drive or taxi. Measured.

Three modes, every one of them measured rather than guessed.

Public transport is deliberately absent: we would rather name three things we can stand behind than four where one is a guess.

If a journey cannot be measured, no figure appears. A wrong minute is worse than no minute.

Airports, with the lead time built in

Getting to a flight is not getting to dinner.

An airport journey carries the lead time that airport actually needs, so the leave time already accounts for the hours before the gate: Leave by 18:55 · 35 min drive · 2h airport lead.

It reads the same flight record as the rest of Carreh, so your Leave By and your departure can never disagree.

One engine, so every surface agrees

Every Leave By in Carreh comes from one place.

  • The connector, the sheet, your Advisor and any reminder ask the same engine
  • A figure never changes when you look at it somewhere else
  • When the engine cannot answer, nothing is shown anywhere
  • Planned timing for everyone, live recalculation with Premium

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to add anything for this to work?

No. It reads the plans already in your trip. Where a plan records where it is, Carreh works out the journey to the next one. Where it does not, no connector appears and nothing asks you to fill anything in.

Why is there no public transport option?

Because we would have to guess at it, and a guessed departure time is worse than none. Walk, drive and taxi are measured, so those are the three we name.

What happens when Carreh cannot work out a journey?

Nothing appears. No estimate, no placeholder, no prompt. A figure shown is a figure we can stand behind.

Is this Premium?

The planned timing is there for everyone. Premium adds live recalculation, so the leave time keeps up with the day.

Where does the routing come from?

Apple Maps, through Carreh rather than through your device, so iPhone and Android get the same answer for the same journey.

Will it interrupt me?

No. It is a line you can read on the connector between two plans, not an alarm.
